Help Us Keep the Story of
Piney Grove Cemetery Alive

The Friends of Piney Grove Cemetery is seeking stories, records, and connections related to individuals buried in this historic site — as well as descendants of those laid to rest here.

To support this effort, we've created a virtual cemetery page showcasing selected gravestones recently uncovered, along with findings from a 2006 archaeological survey. That survey revealed 324 anomalies consistent with grave shafts, many marked only with fieldstones — or left entirely unmarked —offering a glimpse into the lives and legacies that shaped our community.
